Richly satisfying, this coffee harbours a deep, nutty aroma and punchy, lingering aftertaste. With very low acidity and a big mouth-feel, it combines especially well with milk. A full flavoured coffee for all-day drinking.

Following Grumpy Mule's established philosophy, this “espresso” coffee has been blended from a seasonal selection of our organically grown coffees in order to coax out each of their best characteristics and features. It is then roasted uniquely to develop as much sweetness, body and complexity as possible and capturing the very essence and intensity of organically cultivated coffee from across the globe. Whilst the blend changes according to the coffee harvests and seasons, it typically contains some of the following coffees at any one time: a "honey processed" organic Costa Rica from the Las Lajas mill, Organic Brasil from Fazenda Santa Terezinha, Organic Sumatra from the KBQB Cooperative and organic coffees from Guatemala and Bolivia.
As the proud winner of no less than 6 Great Taste Awards in 2013 and the recent accolade of ‘Best Coffee Brand’ in the recent Fine Food Digest’s ‘Best Brands 2013-14’ issue; Grumpy Mule offers distinctive and certified coffees roasted in batches to suit their individual characteristics and to get the best possible flavour from each and every coffee. Most of these coffees aren’t just blends or characterless single origin coffees, but coffees from identifiable farms, estates and cooperatives of smallholder farmers. The beans are roasted and packed in their Yorkshire roastery.
